How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your Arisan-Q account/profile and associated data, contact the treasurer or app administrator for your arisan group and provide:
- Your group authentication code.
- Your name as registered in Arisan-Q.
- Your WhatsApp number.
- A clear request to delete your profile and associated data.
Data That May Be Deleted
Deletion may include:
- Member name, nickname, WhatsApp number, and profile photo.
- Attendance responses and voting records connected to the member profile.
- Chat or announcement-related data associated with the member where applicable.
Data That May Be Retained
Some financial records may need to be retained by the group treasurer for bookkeeping, audit, dispute resolution, or legal/accounting purposes. These may include payment history, cash ledger records, winner history, and backup files controlled by the treasurer.
Processing Time
Deletion requests are handled by the group treasurer or app administrator. Requests are generally processed within 30 days after the request can be verified.
